Emerson Service Specialist in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

You will be primarily responsible for end-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Proposals to our customers across various process industries (such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Energy, Power and Renewables) within Emerson Systems & Software Lifecycle Services business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure understanding, managing and satisfying each of the Customer’s and Company’s sales team’s requirements and expectations through remote communication and site visits

  • Taking ownership of the assigned medium-complexity Technical and Commercial Proposal scope delivery following the standard process; ensuring the innovative and cost-effective solutions are proposed; proactively apply methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality

  • Ensuring that all the activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s and customer’s HSE & Quality standards and processes

  • Maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the Proposals team

  • Taking other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree

  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

  • Willingness to travel for shorter periods (up to 10%) as required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Proficiency in other European language

  • +1 years of experience in the process automation field for various industries, preferably with commercial and sales support activities

  • Technical understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture
