Sierra Nevada Corporation Field Service Technician II (Deployable) in Clovis, New Mexico
If you have a keen eye for the big picture, excellent technical data analysis skills, and enjoy working collaboratively, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Field Service Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Experience using troubleshooting techniques
Understanding of electrical wiring concepts
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violations
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations
Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Associate's degree in a related field of study
Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+ Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
