Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Need to be open to all shifts. Approximately 50-60 hours per week during the season. The Maintenance Mechanic will conduct repairs and preventative maintenance of food production facility equipment.
Lock out/tag out procedures are non-negotiable and will be observed closely. The role primarily involves mechanical repair, working on fruit packaging machinery, conveyors, slicers, shakers, and sorters. Responsibilities also include working on blast freezers and repairing hydraulics/plumbing issues with equipment and drainage systems.
Electrical experience is required for those seeking a higher pay rate. Machinery includes Prodopac, Reiser, Reytech color sorting machine. The role involves electrical wiring and light automation troubleshooting (swing shift only), but no computer-based troubleshooting is required. Only hard-wiring circuits and electrical components of machines are necessary.
