Our Savior's Lutheran Church Administrative Assistant in Cloquet, Minnesota

Our Savior's Lutheran Church is seeking a dedicated and organized person to join our team! The ideal candidate will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all who come to the church. This person will primarily assist the pastoral staff and church leaders with coordinating the functions of the church office and individuals as needed. Responsibilities Work closely with pastoral staff Act as a front desk receptionist for visitors and church members during the work week Provide excellent remote support by answering phone calls, directing calls, taking messages, managing email and various social media platforms Maintain church files and official records Administer our building use policy during scheduled activities Create, layout, edit, print, and fold newsletters, bulletins, reports, and office mailings Create weekly worship PowerPoint presentations Treat this position as an important extension of our Christian Ministry and the Mission of Our Savior's Lutheran Church Proficient in computer literacy with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Google Applications Suite, and online media Excellent verbal and written skills Possess a proven ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, staff and volunteers Ability to maintain confidentiality A joyful and supportive attitude especially in relation to other staff and all office visitors Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently as well as part of a team If you are a proactive individual with a passion for organization and service to others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
