JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintenance Planner - 295 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Overview: We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team! In this role, you will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment is properly maintained while minimizing production downtime. You will plan and manage resources, parts, and personnel to solve maintenance challenges efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Work Standards: Maintain and perform standardized work within the department. * Continuous Improvement: Identify Kaizen opportunities to enhance processes. * Performance Metrics: Understand Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) key performance indicators like MTBF and OEE. * Safety Compliance: Ensure maintenance technicians work safely and adhere to proper safety protocols. * Work Requests: Manage non-emergency work requests and clarify work order scopes. * Work Order Management: Properly assign work orders and plan necessary resources, including sketches and manuals. * Cost Estimation: Provide accurate estimates for labor, parts, and contractor services for each work order. * Parts Requisition: Order necessary materials and tools for non-emergency work orders. * Resource Planning: Determine required skill sets, crew sizes, and labor hours for tasks. * Coordination: Work with contractors, engineering, and outside services as needed. * Documentation: Input daily logs and ensure accurate record-keeping. * Scheduling: Review work order schedules with the maintenance supervisor and production team. * Backlog Management: Track maintenance backlog hours to manage overtime and contractor support. * Compliance: Follow GMP and SQF guidelines and report any food safety issues. * Maintenance Library: Keep maintenance documentation and equipment logs up to date. Compensation: * Hourly Pay: Starting at \$32 per hour. Physical Requirements: * Work is performed on the production floor and in an office environment. * Ability to sit for extended periods and access various work centers. * Some walking, bending, and occasional lifting of light materials required. * Frequent mental and visual concentration for computer tasks and problem-solving. Skills: + Strong time management and organizational abilities. + Clear written and verbal communication skills. + Leadership capabilities.
