Location: Clinton, WI 53525

10% shift differential

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM

We are looking for candidates to join our Saw Department. Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive training program with opportunities to advance, develop skills and experience in machining. Qualifications

  • Technical Capacity, Communication Proficiency, Time-Management, Self-motivation, Initiative, Problem Solving/Analytical, Organizational Skills, High level of Accuracy, Attention to detail, Solid Math Skills, Basic computer skills

  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up-to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up-to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

  • High school diploma or general education development (GED) required

Basic Math, computer, and blueprint reading

  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

    Responsibilities

  • Saw Operator will set up and operate saws to cut metal materials to the required length or shape

  • Install saw blades, set stop gauges for the length of the cut, operate material feed, and set saw speeds for the type of materials

  • Set up and operate metal cutting saws to cut bar stock to specified measurements

  • Receive, store and route bar stock in the proper lengths, dimensions, and material types

  • Operate overhead crane for loading and unloading material

  • Responsible for the correct identification of raw material

  • Mark ends of stock to maintain the proper identity

  • Maintain an orderly work area and stock of material on the shop floor and on storage racking

  • Utilizes material handling equipment as required

  • Follows all departmental work procedures and company policies, including all company safety policies

  • Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable

  • Participates in employee training programs and communication meetings

  • Performs daily operator maintenance on saw equipment

  • Ensures the work area and equipment are properly maintained to provide a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

  • Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
