Taylor Power Systems Purchasing / Expediting Clerk -TPS in Clinton, Mississippi

This is a Purchasing/Expediting Clerk position with a company in Clinton, MS.

Responsibilities: Ensures parts needed for upcoming units are in stock and expedited where needed. Contacts Vendors concerning parts shortages and tracks shipments of parts in route. Provides to Supply Chain Manager expected delivery date of parts and updates Reports where needed. Makes suggestions to Supply Chain Manager of units needing to be pushed further back in production due to major parts shortage. Works closely with Inventory Auditors & BOM Coordinator on inventory corrections to purchased parts. Compiles and prepares spreadsheets of missing parts and delivery dates. Maintains Open Order Reports from Multiple Vendors. Assist in in maintain vendor files and searching for new vendors to remain competitive. Ensures quality of purchased material; ensures competitive pricing. Assist in daily purchasing task. Assist with any other special request as needed.
