Located in the heart of Clifton Park, Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering a range of medical services including long term care, memory care, and a 20 bed sub-acute rehabilitation unit.

The Assistant Director of Nursing would be expected/ but not limited to:
Day supervision of the community, overseeing the overall function and operability of the nursing units
Act as Infection Preventionist for all departments
Assist in the creation of policies and procedures to improve quality of care
Assist with the education of the nursing team and infection control throughout the community
Assist in the management of nursing personnel and the administrative functions for the nursing department
Monitoring infection rates and outbreaks and communicating with appropriate governing bodies
Acts on the behalf of the Director of Nursing in their absence
Demonstrate the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
Accountability for the human resource and outcome management for designated resident populations
Compliance with federal and state regulations
Minimum Requirements :
Valid NYS RN license
Associate degree in nursing
2+ year of experience as a RN in a leadership role
5+ year of experience as a RN in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting in a leadership role
Preferred Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
Excellent communication in a fast-paced work environment across teams on different shifts and different departments
Highest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environment
Promote and embrace the culture of the facility and its mission
Provide leadership and mentorship skills overseeing nursing and nursing support staff
Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field

Pay: $86,216.00 - $128,000.00 per year
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
