One of Dayton's most vintage and profitable manufacturers is seeking a detailed-oriented and organized team player for the position of Staff Accountant. If you are an accounting professional with 2+ years of experience or an associates/bachelor's degree in accounting please ! A manufacturing background is a plus! Responsibilities
Prepare various journal entries, monthly or as needed.
Compile and manage daily reports.
Reconciliation of assigned Balance Sheet accounts.
Perform all duties for SOX compliance.
Filing sales tax reporting
Development and reporting of KPI's for departments.
Assist in identifying and developing cost saving initiatives.
Employee Expense Reimbursement processing
Perform as Payroll Backup
Crosstrain and assist in Inventory auditing.
Assist with ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills
Microsoft Excel (2 years of experience is required)
Infor Software
Sales & Use Tax (2 years of experience is required)
1099 Knowledge (2 years of experience is required)
SOX
Corporate Audit Experience
Payroll
Detail Oriented
Team Player
