Cleveland Clinic Systems Analyst Associate in Cleveland, Ohio

As the IT Systems Analyst Associate, you will participate in workstation, software, peripheral, network, and workflow support. The Associate provides input to develop solutions. With supervision and support, you may assist with project assignments and documentation, operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities, task level resource requirements, task plans, and collaborative communications. You will also support first level diagnostic Help Desk and after-hours support to include on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Complies with established corporate and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance methods, and safety codes. Demonstrates compliance with licensing, regulatory and accrediting agency provisions as required.

  • Consistently demonstrates appropriate and professional communication behavior toward patients, customers, and coworkers. Cooperates with Management and peers to promote an environment of teamwork and collaboration.

  • Assists with system configuration by participating in proof of concept build and testing and continuously communicating end user experiences to the build team. Knowledgeable and able to effectively address the capabilities and application of clinical information systems.

  • Utilizes lean tools and methodologies to support operations use of information technology by streamlining processes and demonstrating a commitment to standard work.

  • Builds good working relationships and maintains a continuous interface with customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisor and utilizes these relationships to resolve issues and problems and explore opportunities. Participates as a member of IT Customer Advocacy Program.

  • Develop, support and maintain department documentation and procedures as needed to provide the necessary support and training to other IT staff and user clients as needed.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.

Education:

  • Successful completion of Cleveland Clinic apprenticeship program and High School diploma/GED

Certifications:

  • Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent preferred.

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31

While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
