What the role offers: As a Sr. Systems Administrator you will: Conversant with PBX administration (Avaya, Cisco, Mitel...), integrating telephony -solutions and comfortable to work on the following: Configuring telephony integrations to customer and product requirements. Maintain and enhance systems as required. Hands on Experience with phone devices, their cabling and configuration. Assist QA with execution of test plans, including placing test calls. Familiarity with scripting (i.e. shell, python, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication Experience working with different teams across the separate geographies Education and Experience Required: Typically, certification on one or more PBX systems and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with third party telephony devices such as Dialogic, Aculab and others. What you need to succeed: In-depth experience with PBX systems (Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, Alcatel) and hands-on experience with telephony boards like Dialogic. Proven ability to create and execute complex test cases, especially in edge scenarios within telephony environments. Strong understanding of telephony protocols (SIP, VoIP, H.323, ISDN) and experience in network testing/troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in telephony-related issues, with strong communication skills for documentation and collaboration. 3-5 years experience administrating PBX systems with a strong understanding of telephony protocols and integration.
