Job Description Reporting to the Director, Technical Operations, the Scrum Master, Observability & Service Management is a member of an Agile software or embedded software development team. They are a Servant Leader who helps the team achieve its goals through effective Agile, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), and Rockwell practices. You will work with 2 agile teams. The Scrum Master, Observability & Service Management understands, applies and coaches Agile and Lean principles within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). They create an environment for learning and helps the agile team coordinate dependencies with other teams and communicates status of these dependencies. You will collaborate with other agile capability teams to identify best practices and lessons learned to increase team and program performance. Essential Functions: Coach team on established IT and corporate standards (e.g., security, quality, and architecture) to minimize operational and reputational risk Work to remove impediments in the organization so that the team achieves its goals Facilitate team and program Champion and facilitate adoption of Agile standards, tools, and best practices Help the team achieve and improve in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity Facilitate Scrum, Agile and SAFe rituals including Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, mid-Sprint review, Demo, Retrospective, and Inspect and Adapt workshops Ensure compliance to PMO requirements, being PM as required Coordinate solution implementation and delivery with other partners and external teams Communicate with all levels of the organization, including progress tracking and reporting Maintain relevant metrics that help the team and program see how they are doing Balances changes in direction or requirements while protecting the team so the team can achieve committed goals Collaborate with Product Owner/s to ensure team execution and performance are aligned with goals - near and long-term Coordinate team efforts under architectural and portfolio governance Collaborate with the Technical Leader to build an Agile culture in teams Foster a high-performing team by focusing on ever-improving team dynamics and performance Help protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work Demonstrate servant leadership, facilitating and coaching rather than directing Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with concentration in software; or equivalent relevant experience Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
