The Sherwin-Williams Company Sales and Product Supply Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Forecast and Demand Intake Work closely with P&M Sales Organization to gather large project demand, understand changes in current demand (ex: New/Lost Business) so that this information can be passed to Demand Planning Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the short-term demand consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps. Provide P&M leadership team with information that supports decision-making to align the company's Product/Portfolio, Demand, Supply, and financial plans and requirements, and deliver strategic objectives. Drive continuous improvement via projects (ex: large job/opportunity improvements within SFDC) Collaborate with your team and Demand Planning to establish and maintain a process for assessing geo-demand, redistributing forecast across DSC's as needed Obsolescence Avoidance Identify areas of risk of obsolescence throughout the value chain Drive continuous improvement on reporting and process Work closely with the Commercial teams to proactively execute on key initiatives and best practices to ensure proper guardrails and controls are in place to mitigate future Obsolescence Develop and monitor KPI's on slow-moving inventory throughout the DSC and Store's network and develop tracking mechanisms to ensure the field is properly addressing sell-thru activities Conduct Restrictions & Alternate DSC Audits Quarterly audits of restrictions maintained by the BU (global sell holds, HA0116 restrictions/HA0518 exemptions, etc.) Quarterly audits of the HA0523 (alternate DSC) logic tied to PMD products and PSG stores/PF facilities PMD Inbox Monitoring Monitor PMD inbox redirecting communication or providing a response when required POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED) Required: High school graduate or equivalent Preferred Bachelors degree in in Marketing, Business, or a related field KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Experience managing priorities among multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors 2+ year's experience in business Preferred: Prior Sherwin-Williams work experience PCG or GSC experience TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Proficient with MS Excel Highly analytical with strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred: Proficient with Microstrategy Exposure to Supply Chain and Demand Planning Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
