Cleveland Clinic Research Technician II -- Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology in Cleveland, Ohio
The Center for Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI) is a state-of-the-art center dedicated to immunotherapy research, discovery, and developmental therapeutics, with the goal to make precision immuno-oncology available for every patient. The Center for Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI) is a comprehensive bench-to-bedside translational center and department focused on immunotherapy, immuno-oncology, and precision medicine. We help propel immunotherapy, oncology research and therapeutics development across the international footprint of Cleveland Clinic.
CITI brings together experts in biomedical research, developmental therapeutics, and clinical medicine in highly integrated programs that foster innovation. To advance our goals, CITI has established immuno-monitoring and clinical trials correlate cores, state-of-the-art genomics shared platforms, immune engineering programs, basic research, and training programs.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am-4:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform laboratory techniques and procedures required for experimental studies.
Perform technical lab duties.
Schedule and perform various analyses.
Assist with establishing and scheduling various procedures and analyses.
Prepare reagents, purify chemicals, and identify, separate and quantify various substances.
Conduct testing and procedures utilizing laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Accumulate data from analyses.
Prepare charts, graphs, statistical tables, publications, grant proposals and applications for research forms.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment OR an associate's degree in a laboratory science field and One year of work experience OR a bachelor's degree.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Ability to distinguish color
Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment
Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, bio-hazards, radioactive materials, etc.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $18.88
Maximum hourly: $28.80
