Lerner Tower 5 is a Medical Cardiology unit that cares for high-risk cardiac conditions. We are a 30 bed unit and our employees pick each other up both personally and professionally each and every shift. Common diagnosis include: Fluid Volume Overload, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Atrial fibrillation, GI Bleed from anticoagulation, Acute on Chronic Heart Failure. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
