University Hospitals Health System Patient Transporter - Night Shift in Cleveland, Ohio
Description Escorts, transports patients to and from the various nursing divisions as well as other ancillary departments ensuring patient safety during transport. Assists patients when necessary to change clothes and dress into hospital gown. Assists moving patients onto and off the x ray tables as needed. Delivers and picks up x rays and related items from various divisions and the main Radiology File Room. Coordinates patient transport with technologists and nurses to avoid delays and to ensure department efficiency. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of wheeelchairs, hospital beds and transport carts.
