MetroHealth Nurse Manager- TICU/SICU, 5W in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick

Bi-weekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 7am - 4pm

All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring.

Primary Patient Population:

  • Trauma

  • Complex Surgical

Personnel Manager will oversee/work with :

  • Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers

Number of beds on unit:

  • 24 beds

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  • Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a registered nurse.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Nursing certification in specialty area or in nursing management/leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC).

  • Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description).

  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing or other health-related field
