KeyBank NA Lead Specialist - 2nd Shift Recovery Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio

Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 We are not your typical Collections Team, and we are looking for a Recovery Collector that will specialize in collecting payments for delinquent loans that are noted as charge off accounts. This is a hybrid role where you will be asked to work on site at least one day per week with the other work being at home. Our in-office day is Friday. Shifts available: Mon-Thurs 12:30-9:00 pm, Friday 8:00-4:30 with a rotating Saturday: 8 am-2 pm Training: Two weeks of training. 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Essential Job Duties: Collect delinquent payments on all loans that are charged off accounts. Research all available means to locate delinquent members who do not reply to telephone calls or letters. Must understand and comply with all required Federal and State Regulations associated with this position. Follow the guidelines set forth in the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), which sets limits on the techniques and methods that can be used to collect debts. Individual will spend 90% of their day on the phone with our customers trying to negotiate a payment or enter a settlement agreement. The other 10% is documenting calls and trainings/meetings. Have a strong negotiation skill and is able to convince customers the benefits of paying their debt. Able to follow a schedule that is set by management for breaks and lunches and to limit time away from the phones when scheduled. Assist our LOB Partners as needed with call overflow. Required and/or Preferred Qualifications Typically, 1 years of experience in customer service or collection's role but not required Ability to work from home 3-4 days per week in a quiet office setting with limited distractions Ability to work overtime when the line of Business requires it Proven excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Analytical, research and problem resolution skills Quick learner and be willing to ask questions Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Expected to maintain an excellent attendance record Moderate knowledge of banking policies, procedures and governmental regulations Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation ranges between $20-$21 per hour, DOE Please click for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
