The Sherwin-Williams Company Lead Oracle Business Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

The Lead Business Analyst role is responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, and design of technology-based business solutions to solve complex business problems. They partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, data models, and other system artifacts. This role will identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements and leads the team responsible for developing functional and technical specifications that define system requirements and articulate how systems will meet business goals. The incumbent is also responsible for overseeing the application of system settings and options. The incumbent supervises the planning and execution of testing to ensure new or modified systems meet business requirements. The incumbent is proficient in software development lifecycle methodologies and has a strong understanding of system testing and quality assurance principles. They are an expert in database management, SQL, web development technologies, and packaged software applications. They will be a leader within the team responsible for process modeling and requirements gathering and leverage their technical expertise to evaluate third-party solutions or technologies that support business process improvements. The incumbent is responsible for providing final approval that system documentation, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials, are accurate and up-to-date. Oversee requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts and devise strategies for development of journey maps and personas to ultimately help solve business challenges and capitalize on opportunities Review business processes, workflows, data models, and other artifacts to validate the current and future states of business systems and identify areas for improvement and potential risks to the organization Lead development of functional specifications for new or modified systems, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements, and provide guidance as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, data analysts, and testers to ensure new systems or changes to existing systems meet the defined business requirements, are delivered timely, and within budget, all while providing strategic recommendations as needed Oversee the application of system settings and options to meet business goals, and manage the planning and execution of system testing Utilize industry expertise and knowledge of leading practices to recommend existing third-party solutions or technologies to achieve business process improvements Manage system documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials Lead and mentor the team and provide strategic recommendations for system optimization and performance improvements to ultimately drive system quality and enhancements Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend to the business potential opportunities to improve existing business systems and processes Oversee training sessions for end-users, as needed Education Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in the field of business systems analysis or IT (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of business systems analysis or IT) Preferred Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) Knowledge and Experience Required 6-8 years of experience in business systems analysis and design with a deep understanding of software development methodologies Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud implementations in Planning, Manufacturing, or Invento
