The Sherwin-Williams Company Lead Data Domain Architect in Cleveland, Ohio

Integrate and refine architecture designs that are aligned to the organization's business goals (e.g., speed, reliability, scalability) Leverage expertise in domain-driven design principals to improve upon conceptual and logical models and advocate for their organization-wide adoption in adherence to architectural principles, policies, standards, and frameworks Create detailed execution plans to implement recommendations for solution designs and ensure consistency and compliance with architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks Influence business strategies and execution models by providing insights on how updated end to end delivery capabilities can drive business goals Foster collaboration among various stakeholders across the business, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of architectural principles, policies, standards, and frameworks in a unified manner Provide technical expertise and training opportunities to empower technical teams in support of the implementation of solution design Drive strategic communication regarding technical considerations and impacts to stakeholders helping them understand implications in detail Maintain and leverage strong business networks to ensure ongoing alignment between business operations and IT strategy Contribute to and influence the development of the overall IT strategy and roadmap, proposing innovative solutions that drive business goals Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to help the organization maintain a competitive advantage, driving innovation within the organization Education Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of experience in IT Preferred TOGAF Certification Knowledge & Experience 10-12 years of experience in the specific domain and designing solutions Proven track record in designing and architecting complex systems at the functional or enterprise level Expertise in technology integration and the design of interfaces between systems Expertise in Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Proven track record in working with enterprise application integration and service-oriented architecture Extensive knowledge of existing and emerging enterprise architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Technical Skills Virtualization Technologies Enterprise Storage Architecture Cloud Technologies & Platforms Web Services, APIs, Microservices, and SOA Application Architecture Data Architecture Project Management Methodology Architecture Governance & Standards Solution Architecture Patterns Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Methodology Emerging Technologies and Automation Tools Technology Cost Optimization Domain Knowledge Change Management Preferred 10+ years of experience architecting solutions for creating, storing, managing and accessing data assets. 10+ years of experience creating and optimizing data models to enforce business rules, assist solution architects, and connect data throughout an enterprise. 10+ years of experience data management including database design, data integration, operational data stores, data lakes and data warehouses.
