The Sherwin-Williams Company IT Project Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

Strategy & Planning Act under the supervision of a project and/or organizational manager (Project Manager, Program Manager) Respond to stakeholder requests for information. Escalate risks and issues that have potential to impact project(s) Communicate effectively with project team, stakeholders, and external resources as needed on status, risks, and accomplishments to ensure alignment with the overall project goals. Perform project reporting, including status reports and overall performance of the project and project completion documentation. Promote, foster, and pro-actively implement the use of Quality Assurance best practices and standards. Operational Management Prioritize conflicting project needs with deadline pressures. Create, coordinate, organize and document regular project communication meetings. Create, update, and maintain basic project documentation, including email groups, meeting summaries, and RAID items. Coordinate the preparation and creation of project presentations by creating and updating templates, merging formats from multiple contributors, and reviewing presentations. Incidental Functions Interact via phone, e-mail, chat, and in-person with internal and external customers, and determine appropriate course of action. Assist with research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks. This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa. This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days. Formal Education & Certification Associate Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 6 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination ofeducation and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business). Knowledge & Experience 0-1 years of business or IT experience. Knowledge of basic project management concepts Preferred Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in business, science or technology field or equivalent experience Formal internship or 1 year of experience in Project management, Operations (supply chain, manufacturing, order management, engineering, and procurement), finance, technical (R&D), EHS, regulatory, sales and marketing functions, and related support IT systems Understanding of Sherwin-Williams' culture Personal Attributes Competent in written and verbal communications Ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Motivated and competent to contribute time and effort to work assigned. Participate in meetings and follow up with resulting action items as needed. Ability to analyze, conceptualize and problem solve. Ability to learn new tools and technologies. Ability to organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment as requested. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
