Three days in the office and two days remote Hours are 8am to 5pm This is internship is PAID at $29/hr. 10 week summer internship starting June 2nd and concluding August 8th Responsibilities: Learn predictive analytical tools such as Aveva Prism and Tibco Spotfire to build and analyze models for specified plant equipment and processes. Use tools to detect technical plant operational issues and opportunities for continuous efficiency improvement. Work with the Analysts to investigate issues identified by the modeling tools to determine if they are model related issues or real operational issues. Work with the case management process to document and track efficiency opportunities or reliability risks. Use tools to understand the theory and practicality of efficiency calculations for whole plant operations, and constraints of the entire supply chain. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement in the plant operations. Monitor and communicate plant efficiencies using both real-time and historical data streams. Create and modify Aveva PI screens, data, and calculations to monitor plant operation, efficiencies, and KPI's. Special Projects for Lead Center, including developing new ways to monitor and analyze data, create EMS templates and Asset Framework, and projects to improve reliability. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent BS in engineering discipline (In process of attaining degree) At least six months experience with Google Suite Preferred Qualifications Experience using Aveva Prism, Tibco Spotfire or OsiSoft PI is preferred, not required.
