Robert Half Front Desk Receptionist in Cleveland, Ohio
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Front Desk Receptionist in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication between clients and staff.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate party
• Handle the scheduling of patient appointments and diligently monitor clinic schedules
• Regularly verify and update patient demographics in our electronic medical record system
• Collaborate closely with the Integrated Behavioral Health Service team to ensure accurate reflection of appointment times and services in the system
• Monitor the flow of appointments in the clinic and alert the clinic manager or appropriate staff if a client has been waiting too long
• Handle internal and external mail coordination for both clients and staff
• Open new enrollments in the electronic medical record system for accurate reflection and billing of client services
• Obtain and scan copies of essential documents presented by clients into the electronic medical record system
• Cross-train with the Front Desk Coordinator to fill in for the Behavioral Health Intake Specialist as needed
• Ensure the confidentiality of clinical information is maintained according to established guidelines and procedures
• Provide additional administrative support and undertake projects as needed. Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Skilled in patient scheduling, effectively managing appointments and ensuring smooth operation of daily activities.
• Capable of handling daily mail, including receiving, sorting, and distributing correspondences promptly.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficient in using office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and phone systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with people from various backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is beneficial.
• Must be available to work during regular office hours.
