The Sherwin-Williams Company Facility Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Facility (Hangar and Grounds) Manager Manage all utility functions (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, generator), operations (security gates, card readers, hangar door, garage door), scheduled maintenance, deliveries (FedEx, UPS, jet fuel) including all preventative maintenance programs. Manage facility support equipment (appliances, fall restraint system, fire extinguishers, AED's, medical kit, eye wash station) including all preventative maintenance programs. Liaison with Corporate EHS as necessary Fuel Farm Management Daily inspection and sampling. Equipment inspection, filter change. Manage fuel storage quantity, ordering, and deliveries. Fuel Spill and Containment Advisor - manage safety protocols and train aviation staff on SPCC Plan (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures) Maintain proper credentials as NATA (National Aviation Training Association) Fuel Trainer Liaison with Corporate EHS as necessary Budgeting, Cost Management, Purchasing & Negotiation Annual budget - participate in the annual planning and budgeting of the departments $10+ Million budget. Fuel price negotiation, purchase, scheduled deliveries for various couriers. Manage and negotiate facility service contracts (landscape, pest control) Manage Preventative Maintenance for hangar equipment such as: Aircraft Tugs Scissor Lift Lavatory Cart Truck/Plow GPU's (Ground Power Units) Floor Scrubber Potable Water Forklift Manage, develop, train, motivate, and engage staff by leveraging an effective leadership style to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Record Keeping (training certificates, preventative maintenance inspections) Third Party Contractors/Vendors Training programs (Fuel training, tug training, hazmat, regulations ASO (Airport Security Officer) - airport badging/record keeping. Additional Duties Active member of the Safety Committee Active participant in creation, implementation, and revisions of the Facility Operations Manual Daily inspection and upkeep of office, hangar, aircraft, vehicles, parking lot, and ramp. Line service assistance - fueling, aircraft towing, passenger bags, restocking aircraft, customer service. Any additional tasks or duties assigned by the direct report manager. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Bachelor's degree KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum 2 year of direct managerial experience, high degree of professionalism, must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, must maintain a high level of confidentiality and security. Preferred: Minimum 3 years of direct managerial experience Experience working in Building Operations roles, managing employees and third-party contractors. Experience working in Corporate Aviation Industry (Private Operator, FBO, MRO) Experience requesting proposals from contractors.
