Development CRM Operations Manager

Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio's largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, continues to expand its news and information, arts and entertainment, classical and education services to 22 counties in Northeast Ohio. As part of this growth, Ideastream seeks a Development CRM Operations Manager (Manager) to provide day-to-day management and optimization of its donor database in relation to the membership, major donor giving, and mid-level giving departments. Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving and Communications, the Manager ensures accurate data collection and entry, analyzes data, and provides insights to inform fundraising strategies. This position is also responsible for managing the Individual Giving Database Manager. In this role, you will generate reports and dashboards, maintain data integrity, assist in donor stewardship, and manage relationships with our database vendors. Typical duties include the following:

• Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity, including cleansing, de-duplication, and updating contact information.
• Manage and maintain the Development department's donor database, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of donor records, membership status, and renewal dates in each record. Implements data entry standards and ensures adherence to policies related to donor information.
• Ensure that gift transaction batches are processed and deposited in a timely manner.
• Analyze membership data and donor segments to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for fundraising growth and improved donor engagement.
• Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive donor information
• Develop and oversee the digital giving pages and products including managing vendor relationships.
• Provide project management support to ensure successful and strategic completion of departmental activities.
• Work closely with the Finance department to support the monthly reconciling of donor contributions and to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Compile reports to support executive summaries for budgeting, forecasting, and other organizational needs.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate knowledge of relational database architecture and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, data analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related field, and five to seven years of donor database CRM experience (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or an equivalent) and knowledge of SQL is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. Strong analytical skills with experience in data management, reporting and trend analysis are also required. The salary range for this position begins at $65,000 and is commensurate with experience.
