Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44144 Job Summary The Data Quality Director is accountable for establishing the Data Quality (DQ) management function within the Chief Data & Analytics office. This will include creation and management of the data quality strategy and approach for designing and implementing sustainable processes and tools for Data Quality Management across the enterprise. It will be essential to create an approach that not only allows for centralized management of data quality metrics and controls but also scales for a federated analytics and reporting environment. This role will work alongside data-producing and data-consuming teams to monitor and certify authoritative data sources and remediate data concerns. Responsibilities Establish a scalable data quality observation process across the enterprise clarifying roles and responsibilities for different participants across Key's data ecosystem Establish and execute Data Quality Management processes against critical data; processes to include profiling, measurement, defect management, root cause analysis and resolution, and more Establish DQ metrics and reporting routines in line with Enterprise Data & Analytics Governance standards and Data Risk Taxonomy Manage senior relationships with Data stakeholders to develop, execute, and implement Data Quality management procedures and capabilities including continuous improvement, monitoring, control, and governance of Data Quality Assess the current data quality tool capabilities, identify gaps, propose solutions based on industry best practices, and drive the implementation/adoption of chosen solution Drive data quality resolution and lead data improvement initiatives Liaise with other areas of Key to understand data challenges and solutions Be a catalyst for driving a culture focused on awareness of the quality of data, enabling fit-for-purpose governance and proactively monitoring of any DQ issues Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Finance, accounting or other business related field of study (required) Master's Degree (preferred) Experience Qualifications 15+ Banking or Finance industry experience, with minimum 8 years of experience defining and implementing data quality programs (required) Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels (required) Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives (required) Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels (required) Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
