Summary:
Leads projects and guides strategic programs that extends the organization’s effective use of data and information. Serves as a principal contributor in the development and execution of novel quantitative analyses capable of generating valuable insights for the MetroHealth System (MHS) and the patient community. Utilizes advanced statistical methods and techniques for predictive modeling combined with subject matter expertise in healthcare operations and finance to create new algorithms, perform in-depth analyses, and forecasts. Works with peers and collaborators to create impactful data visualizations and effectively communicate results. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Meets one of the following: • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or other quantitatively rigorous field of study and either 3 years of progressive data analytics or programming experience or 1 year of advanced analytics experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or other quantitatively rigorous field of study and either 5 years of progressive data analytics or programming experience or 3 years of advanced analytics experience. • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience of relevant scope and complexity.
Proficiency with applied quantitative methods in biostatistics, epidemiology, finance, operations, or health services research. Experience programming using SAS, R, python, or SPSS. Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced and often unstructured environment. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or other quantitatively rigorous field of study. Experience working with health care data Experience creating data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools Experience working autonomously with executive-level leadership.
Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
