Case Western Reserve University Admissions Coordinator - Recruitment and Outreach in Cleveland, Ohio

POSITION OBJECTIVE 

Serves as a core member of the graduate admissions team which actively supports the recruitment, selection, and attraction of the strongest possible student body for Weatherhead School of Management. The Admissions Outreach Coordinator plays a critical role in shaping the incoming class by identifying and recruiting talented candidates who align with the institution's values and goals. Their primary objective is to attract, guide, and support prospective students throughout the admissions process.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  1. Outreach Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the admissions team to execute outreach strategies aimed at engaging prospective students across domestic and international populations. Initiate and maintain regular contact with prospective students through various communication channels (phone calls, emails, text, etc.) to provide information, answer inquiries, and build relationships. Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, understanding their individual needs, goals, and aspirations. Provide feedback and insights into marketing and recruitment to enhance strategies. (60%)
  2. Prospective Student and Applicant Support: Guide prospective students and applicants through the admissions process, providing information, answering inquiries, and offering support to facilitate their application journey. Guide prospective students by providing detailed information about program requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation. Offer personalized guidance and support throughout their consideration process prior to application. (20%)
  3. Support Engagement Activities: Support and participate in events, including virtual and in-person fairs, information sessions, webinars, and presentations to showcase our programs. Effectively communicate the unique features and benefits of our graduate management education programs, emphasizing its value and relevance in advancing students' careers. Deliver compelling messages to prospective students, showcasing the program's strengths and benefits. Tailor messaging to resonate with individual prospects. (10%)
  4. Data Analysis: Assist in tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and propose improvements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospective student interactions and outcomes in the enrollment management system (Slate). Utilize data to generate reports and analyze enrollment trends. (10%)

CONTACTS

Department: Moderate contact with all personnel in the immediate department, dean¿s office, faculty, and staff to provide information and resolve data issues.

University: Infrequent contact with information technology, admissions offices, financial aid, and registrars to request access, share information, learn about updates.

External: Continuous contact with prospective students, vendors, other contacts as needed and alumni.

Students: Infrequent contact with current students.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No staff supervisory responsibility. In coordination with the broader enrollment and recruitment team manage the data reporting and analysis across the graduate marketing and enrollment team.

 

QUALIFICAITONS

Education/Experience: Highschool education and 6 years of experience or Bachelor¿s degree and 2 years. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
