What we’re looking for…
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components by machining.
Expectations & Accountabilities…
Create product based on work orders, complex drawings, sketches, sample parts and verbal orders.
Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain a close tolerance.
Complete reports, issue material to work order as required, and file prints.
Plan and layout work in proper operational sequence.
Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to be successful…
Demonstrated multiple years of successful experience in setting up a job in CNC Milling Machine, Manual Milling Machine, Manual Grinder; Wet Grinder proficiency is required.
Proficiency in using and reading measurements from Calipers, Micrometer, Depth mic and other machine shop measuring devices.
Ability to read fixture blueprints and determine the appropriate machining process.
Communication skills (written and oral).
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Mechanical aptitude.
Team player.
Good problem-solving skills.
Intermediate skill level including proficiency with machine set-up and operation.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Qualifications that will set you apart…
Mold experience (inspecting, cleaning, repairing, building, etc.) is a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of ISO9001 and LEAN.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two years of machine trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
