Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Dept - PRN in Cleburne, Texas
Fast-paced, high volume Emergency department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Cleburne, 201 Walls Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033
Work hours: PRN “As Needed, rotating schedule 7:00 am – 7:00 pm , 11a-11p, 3p-3a or 7:00 pm -7:00 am– PRN II requires 3 shifts in a 6 week schedule with a minimum of 1 weekend shift.

Here’s What You Need
· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
· BSN preferred
· One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
· One year of RN experience in ER required
· BCLS – prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly
· ACLS – within 90 days of hire
· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
· PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support – within 90 Days of hire
· TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course - within 12 Months of hire
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
· Assesses the patient
· Plans the care of the patient
· Intervenes as appropriate
· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
