This job posting is for a full time, day shift Department Secretary position at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.

The Scheduler Coordinator is an expert and proficient in all positions and tasks within the department. Experienced in managed care and government payment methodologies, with knowledge of regulatory requirements appropriate for the position. Demonstrates leadership and assists the Manager in providing guidance, direction and acts as resource to other schedulers. Proficient in presentation skills and teaches in-house training classes. Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Maintains a professional demeanor and attire as a representative of BayCare Health System. Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically. Must be able to travel within the BayCare Health System area using personal transportation. Available to report to the facility at any time in order to respond to disasters and emergencies.
