Trinity Health Clinic Manager - Clear Lake and Sheffield Clinics - Full Time - Days in Clear Lake, Iowa

About The Job:

Provides leadership for department services through collaborations with employees, other departments, services, customers, etc. Manages the administrative and financial operation of assigned clinics. Assures the daily operation run smoothly for both patient and provider flow within the clinic. Works jointly with the URO staff and other support staff to assure these functions support the specific site. Is responsible for the selection, training, development and assessment of staff. Identifies and strives to achieve customer needs and expectations while promoting quality improvement initiatives through Process Excellence. Assists in the development of and responsible for implementation of policies and procedures for the operation of the clinics. Evaluates processes and implements improvements. Responsible for new provider practice start-up and physician scheduling. Performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa.

What we are looking for:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in business or approved course of study preferred or must be willing to obtain within 3 years of hire.

Experience:

Two years in supervisory capacity, coaching/leader role

Previous experience in Healthcare preferred.

Lean experience preferred.

Special Skills, Competencies, and Aptitudes:

Demonstrates ability and knowledge in the area of management

Able to set and organize own work priorities with high degree of initiative and judgment.

Familiarity with computer applications in Healthcare

Ability to work with a variety of people of diverse backgrounds.

Strong written and verbal skills, financial knowledge of high reasoning ability.

Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current status.

Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.

Hours: Full Time, Days. Oversees (3) locations: Clear Lake Family Practice, Sheffield Family Medicine and Sukup Health Solutions.
