Cabinets Northwest Corporation Delivery in Cle Elum, Washington
Local cabinet shop is looking for a Delivery Lead/Driver. Our Delivery personnel are the face of our company to customers, contractors, and the general public. Professional conduct, demeanor, safe practices on jobsites and responsible driving is of utmost importance.
The responsibilities of this position include (but is not limited to): * Loading cabinets from factory floor onto company truck * Responsible for making sure all loads are properly loaded on truck, 100% complete, and secure * Driving CNW vehicles (large box trucks) to delivery location (construction jobsites) * Carrying and/or hoisting cabinets into the building and making sure they are placed in exact unit specified. * Consulting with jobsite personnel * Directing truck drivers from contracted carriers on large loads for access to unloading area * Organizing and managing temporary day labor for help unloading and stocking units * Ability to check off paperwork listing product, confirming correct delivery * Time/Task management * Track all truck maintenance and responsible for cleaning of trucks
Our delivery personnel must: * Be able to lift 50-75lbs on a continual basis * Be able to work in all weather conditions * Be at least 18 years of age * Have a valid Driver's License, preferable to have a CDL Class B. * Be willing to submit to a background check (includes driving record) * Be willing to work well with others. * Must be experienced and dedicated to meet high demands * Be dependable, team work attitude, and hardworking * Able to read a tape measure and shop drawings. * Have great communication skills * Have excellent leadership skills * Problem solving and planning skills * Follow safety and quality guidelines * Able to report to work on time and as scheduled and 100% reliable.
Some cabinetry or carpentry experience preferred.
This is a lead role in delivering/unloading high volumes of cabinets (300+ per day) to our customers (no installation).
In addition to main responsibilities, when not on a large delivery the Delivery personnel will be expected to help in the shop. This includes sweeping, cleaning, wrapping cabinets, and always loading cabinets into trucks/trailers. The Delivery personnel is also responsible for picking up will call orders from vendors when needed and delivering smaller orders to customers.
Hours - 40+ hours per week. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
