Actalent QC Technician in Clayton, North Carolina

Job Title: QC TechnicianJob Description

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a QC Technician to support the review of Vendor Documentation to ensure compliance. The QC Technician will perform visual inspections of incoming materials and review documentation for compliance. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with QC and Manufacturing teams, data entry into Excel spreadsheets, and assisting with the migration to LIMS. The QC group supports the physical testing lab of chemical, raw material, and PPM components.

Responsibilities

  • Review Vendor Documentation for compliance.

  • Perform visual inspections of incoming materials.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QC and Manufacturing teams.

  • Enter batch data into Excel spreadsheets.

  • Assist with the migration to LIMS.

  • Support the physical testing lab of chemical, raw material, and PPM components.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in an industry that emphasizes strong documentation (pharma, automotive, aviation, etc.).

  • Exposure to documentation and formatting of GMP documents.

  • Ability to articulate errors effectively to the team.

  • Computer literacy including strong email communication and Excel experience.

  • Quality control and inspection experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with GDP in any capacity (manufacturing, lab, quality).

  • Experience with LIMS is a plus.

  • QA experience is a plus, especially if previously a QA technician reviewing quality documents for compliance.

Work Environment

The role is on-site in Clayton, NC, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The QC Technician will work alongside the QC team but will not be in a lab-based role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
