Robert Half Director of Communications in Clayton, Missouri

Description We are on the hunt for a strategic and innovative Director of Communications to join our team in Clayton, Missouri. This role is crucial to the development and implementation of our company's strategic messaging, marketing, and communication plans. This position is instrumental in advancing our brand, raising visibility, and delivering clear messaging to our constituencies.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the development of content for marketing and communication materials across all platforms, promoting a variety of our efforts including student recruitment, academic programming, and special events.

• Ensuring our company’s image is accurately represented in all developed content; this includes brochures, fliers, advertisements, presentations, and videos.

• Collaborating with various departments to meet their marketing communication needs while adhering to brand guidelines and budget constraints.

• Developing and implementing content strategies for our official social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and main website.

• Driving media strategy by developing positive relationships with members of the media and managing the development and distribution of news releases.

• Drafting, coordinating, and communicating crisis and disaster response plans as needed.

• Providing direction to direct-reporting staff, freelance contractors, and student workers, including setting work-flow priorities.

• Contributing to strategic discussions regarding projects and overall division strategic planning.

• Developing, tracking, and reporting appropriate project metrics.

• Assisting in developing the Communications budget to accomplish annual business objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role such as Director of Communications or similar leadership roles

• Proficiency in using CRM and database systems

• Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Facebook Insights and Google Analytics

• Proven ability to create and manage advertisements

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain brand awareness

• Experience with budget processes and financial planning

• Strong background in campaign planning and execution

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to lead a team effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field is preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
