Huntington National Bank CIC Impact Division Associate in Clayton, Missouri

Hours:

Part Time, M-F, 15-20 hours a week

Summary:

The Huntington Community Impact Capital (CIC) Associate position will provide technical, strategic, and organizational support to the CIC Impact Manager and broader team to further initiatives that will deepen CIC's relationships and impact with partners and in its communities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Impact Manager on development of CIC's strategic impact initiatives with a focus on providing CIC impact events at affordable housing communities

  • Provide recommendations to improve impact programs

  • Develop metrics to monitor and report on impact initiatives; such impact reporting shall be a combination of incorporating industry best practices and developing CIC-focused reports

  • Utilize specialized skills to coordinate, review, oversee, or administer programs, projects or processes related to the function served

  • Serve as an administrative liaison with bank personnel, outside vendors and/or customers

  • Works with schools in deploying and creating leading financial literacy programs; such programs include investment clubs, individual mentorship between students and CIC employees, tours of local businesses, and more

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience

  • Strong desire to uplift communities with a focus on education and housing

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including building reporting spreadsheets and creating compelling PowerPoint presentations

  • Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business

  • A strong interest in Affordable Housing or Community Development as a career

  • Experience creating social media posts and assisting with communications campaigns through a story-telling lens

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development programming with a strong passion for social services and helping others

  • Basic financial proficiency and a desire to learn how the financing of community development occurs

  • Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel
