ABOUT
As the Safety Manager at NPC, you will lead, develop, and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. You will work to continuously improve the safety culture with a hands-on approach, and serve as the "go-to" resource for all managers, supervisors, and employees on safety-related matters, continuously providing guidance and support. Also, you can expect to lead the NPC Safety Committee, conduct regular safety inspections, investigate accidents to determine the root cause, and collaborate with all appropriate members to maintain and enhance emergency response plans.
Your success in the Safety Manager position will depend on establishing a good rapport with all departments, as well as internal and external stakeholders across NPC. A passion for safety is crucial. A "boots on the ground" approach and strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, analyze data, and develop effective safety strategies will be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The minimum requirements to be considered for the Safety Manager opportunity are:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of two years related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Previous experience with OSHA, DEP, EPA, and NFPA is strongly preferred.
