  Job Description: A major national client requires a qualified Fire Brigade Team, located in the Upstate New York geography. The successful candidate will have professional fire and life safety field experience and a track record of increasing responsibility.

  Job Functions:

  1. Reports directly to the Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD).

  2. Assess fire plans and executes them in the event of an emergency

  3. Conduct basic inspections of the building during shift. Mitigates hazards, potential exponential fire loads, and ensures fire suppression devices are in working order and in designated locations.

  4. Respond to emergencies during business and non-business hours (on rotation) and provide general support to the client EHS team.

  5. Reports back to Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) of issues noted found on building walk throughs

  6. Demonstrate s a professional appearance and professional way about conducting business. Shall be mindful of operations within the facility and shows a high level of respect to all employees and client employees.

  Job Requirements : Along with our Client, Metro One is seeking highly experienced fire and life safety personnel with knowledge and background in the fire service industry, who is familiar with fire alarm systems, evacuation procedures, and the suppression of incipient fires and hazards that pose great risk to loss of property and potential life hazard .

  1. The capability of working independently and as a team member to accomplish the duties associated with position.

  2. Strong background in EHS and emergency response.

  3. Must be able to take direction and has understanding of a fire service command structure

  4. Professional certifications (e.g., NYS fire certifications acceptable )
