As the NY Expansion Construction Document Controller you are directly responsible for all documents related the Facilities Construction including drawings, submittals, RFI's or SCR's, change orders, permits. In addition, this position requires regular communication, and working with, contractors to ensure that all documentation has been turned over. This role must work closely with each manager, project manager and superintendent to provide the latest drawings and or documents for reference. As the Document Controller for the Facilities team, your position requires strong team engagement, mentoring, communication, and the ability to develop solid inter-departmental relationships. Your vision and input to the organization of documents of the Facilities group is important and expected.

This position is expected to be a hybrid/onsite position in our Clay, New York facility. We will consider applicants who are not in the area currently but will be willing to relocate when we have available office space at that time.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Maintain and archive all project documentation

  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

  • Report all EHSS-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (ERT, Supervisor, Security etc.)

  • Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injuries and all safety hazards

  • Maintain MT safety certifications and stay informed of procedure changes

  • Maintains a high level of safety knowledge and actively participates in safety programs (i.e. good catch program)

  • Demonstrates safety in the workplace (i.e., evacuation procedures, responding to emergencies, and location of safety showers

Provides Project Support

  • Maintenance of MS Access databases including customized tables, queries, reports and uploads.

  • Receipt, data entry and reconciliation of contractor invoices and daily/weekly T&M sheets.

  • Scheduling and preparation for design, engineering, and construction Meetings.

Supporting the Construction Project process work-flows

  • Calculate and communicate Project cash flow

  • Provide support for preparation of planning, design/engineering, and construction programs/projects

  • Responsible for keeping confidential records.

  • Support other daily duties/tasks related to this position

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in a Document Control role

  • Broad background in facility and building management

  • Good computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and ability to lead and direct both internal and external resources

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate well with management team

  • Essential that you have strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate in teams, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and make decisions with minimal guidance or counseling

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$57,000.00 - $96,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
