DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will be an essential asset to a county maintenance organization. Your role will involve assisting experienced staff in analyzing and planning maintenance operations using key systems like SAP, SRM, analysis office, and ePayroll. By actively contributing to this critical work, you will drive enhancements in material efficiency, optimize maintenance services, improve inventory accuracy, and elevate overall quality through a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Your contributions will significantly and positively impact the community's infrastructure and maintenance operations. You will collaborate with tree contractors to assess highways, estimate costs, and maintain accurate records. In addition, you will confidently manage the verification of payments, oversee the dumpster maintenance contract, coordinate herbicide spraying, and review equipment rental payrolls in SAP. Your proactive involvement will ensure seamless operations and strengthen our community's infrastructure.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
