The EADS Group, Inc. Environmental Engineering Technician in Clarion, Pennsylvania

The EADS Group, Inc., is actively seeking a full-time Environmental Engineering Technician located in our Clarion, PA office. The Engineering Technician is needed to support our current clients and workload. We offer a flexible workweek, competitive benefits package, and salary commensurate with experience.

Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Environmental Engineering Technician will assist project managers with environmental sampling, compaction testing, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, mine permitting, preparation of design deliverables, permit application packages, stream and wetland mitigation design.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years related work experience within the engineering sector.
  • Desired qualifications include experience with regulatory permitting, drawing preparation, project cost estimating, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and other engineering software including Autodesk 3D.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.    
  • The preferred candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience with AutoCAD or ESRI software is a plus.
  • The preferred candidate will also have an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a closely related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
