Aerotek Paper Mill Machine Operator in Clackamas, Oregon

Description:

Local Mill specializing in gloss paper manufacturing. Need for machine operators to learn how to run large machines. Clear and structured opportunities to increase position level and pay.

Regular working hours are 5 days on, 5 days off schedule with 12 hour shifts. Most be open to days/nights. This includes plenty of overtime, but also long weekends.

Pay Starts at $22.60 and increases to $24.06 after 90 days (plus overtime).

  • Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.

  • Monitor, operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a smooth and efficient manner.

  • Good communication skills to provide and exchange job-related information with co-workers in a way that facilitates problem solving and decision making.

  • Operate mobile equipment and cranes.

  • Work constructively in a team environment.

  • Perform weekly safety inspections.

  • Prolonged periods of working on feet standing and walking.
