The Role

Netflix is recruiting for an HR Business Partner Manager who will partner closely with several leaders and teams within our LATAM region (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil). It’s important to note that the type of hiring for this role is temporal/fixed to 8 months, as it covers a leave of absence. The focus of this role is to efficiently partner with the business, implement talent priorities at scale and across the region, coach employees at all levels and influence to enable our teams to accomplish amazing things. What you will do: This team requires an HR partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for scaling leaders. You will contribute to and support the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for the region, continuing to iterate and evolve our talent practices over time. The Netflix HRBP role is unique in the sense that you’ll be responsible for advising decisions on organization design, compensation, employee development, talent density, inclusion, and much more. In this role, leading, demonstrating, redefining, and modeling the Netflix culture is a top priority. They will be role models of our culture, valuing diversity of opinions and people, and will coach leaders to become more competent, compassionate, conscious, and courageous in these efforts. In addition to coaching and development of leaders and their incoming teams, this individual will need to have the ability to influence across the business as well as with cross-functional talent partners. A heightened awareness of the needs of the business will ultimately lead to better partnership and execution of large-scale initiatives. What we are looking for:

  • 8 years of progressive, strategic, and well-rounded HR experience working in dynamic environments, proven ability and interest to be hands-on.

  • A dynamic and thoughtful HR leader with a collaborative and influential leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action, and to think creatively about solutions.

  • Experienced in developing highly effective colleagues who build strong teams, leading with empathy, and unlocking the capabilities of a global, diverse workforce. You are a strong ally and understand how to lead change toward a culture of inclusion.

  • Passionate about and experienced with leading through change and navigating ambiguity, while maintaining operational excellence. Comfortable working autonomously and able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems.

  • Adept at exploring and analyzing data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders.

  • A self-starter, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organization overall with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support.

  • Exceptional at leading the implementation of strategic talent initiatives across a variety of disciplines: culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion and diversity.
