Job Description Summary

The Coca-Cola Company is looking for a hands-on Data Governance Analyst to be responsible for analyzing and managing business data governance requirements to support strategic decision-making processes. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including bottling system partners and business stakeholders, to understand functional and technical needs, and translate complex data governance analyses into actionable insights. To also coordinate and develop data governance products, ensure data quality, and integrate data governance functionalities under the Company platform (Azure). This role includes developing logical data models, overseeing day-to-day project implementations, and actively collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

What You'll Do for Us

The Data Governance Analyst key responsibilities are:

  • Analyze business data governance requirements and develop strong business acumen for the data governance domain.

  • Translate data governance needs into clear insights that support business strategies.

  • Coordinate and develop data governance products, including data ingestion, processing ETL, data enhancements, master data, and data quality controls.

  • Develop logical data models and determine data completeness and quality.

  • Engage with Data Product Owners to define and deliver required data quality controls.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of data governance definitions, dictionaries, policies, and metrics.

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of project development and implementation.

  • Connect with stakeholders, including bottling system partners and business stakeholders, to understand functional and technical requirements and implement collaborative projects.

  • Lead planning and tracking routines to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on development and management of data governance products from ingestion to operations.

  • Experience using Power BI, Python/PySpark, and working with relational SQL databases.

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality models, and CRISP-DM methodology for end-to-end design and deployment.

  • Proficiency in defining and building data models and ETL processes for governance purposes.

  • Experience using Azure platform for Data Governance products and Data Services.

  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps project methodology.

  • Strong business acumen to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and required data measures.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Spanish for effective stakeholder management.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle change management and ensure the adoption of new projects.
