The opportunity

You will be responsible for managing network operations, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues, and ensuring maximum availability and resilience of network services. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a team of passionate professionals committed to providing optimal customer service and support. As a member of our team, you will be part of a 24/7 operations team that ensures our clients' networks are running smoothly.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Manage the overall health and performance of the network infrastructure.

  • Investigate and resolve complex network issues.

  • Implement changes to the network infrastructure as per business requirements.

  • Monitor network health using various tools, software, and systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to perform network-related tasks and upgrades.

  • Document network operations processes and procedures

  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure maximum availability of network services.

  • Act as the first point of contact for Major incident issues via phone and email.

  • Troubleshoot reported relevant issues and escalate critical issues to higher tiers.

  • Record and track all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation, procedures, and operational methods.

  • Ensure timely communication of network status with clients and internal teams!

  • Knowledge in basic networking configurations

  • Managing Major Incident incidents across the IT and Business Unit

  • Following up on RCA.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Relevant Courses and Certifications (CCNA, MSCA, ITIL)

  • Strong Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls).

  • Experience with Network Monitoring tools and software.

  • 2+ Years of Enterprise Service Desk/Helpdesk or equivalent experience.

  • +5 Years of NOC Experience with Monitoring tools such as HP, OBM/BMS & SolarWinds or equivalent.

  • String Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excelled communication skills, both verbal and written.
