Citigroup National Sales Sr Manager in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico

The National Sales Sr Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the US Consumer & Commercial Banking group in the development and execution of Sales Reporting. Position will be responsible for development and support of data sourcing, application and report components.

  • Work with senior leadership and business analysts to understand and document business needs for Sales Reporting.

  • Produce Sales performance reporting/business intelligence for all levels of the Consumer Banking organization; Audience includes Field Leadership, Product, Segment and Senior Leadership; Development lifecycle includes data analysis, KPI development, report design, and process/delivery automation.

  • Design, enhance, and maintain database objects hosted in Oracle, Teradata, and similar platforms.

  • Perform detailed analysis of data structures, indexes, partitions, and related database objects in order to provide recommendations for/implementation of strategies for data storage and performance optimization.

  • Perform periodic reviews of security configuration, information privacy controls, and access audits to ensure that data storage and accessibility adhere to corporate standards.

  • Work with team members to coordinate and collaborate on development projects, maintenance, and BAU tasks related to reporting and business intelligence development and data management.

  • Development and support of multiple data integration tasks (ETL) to support reporting.

  • Provide on-going data validation and performance metrics related to data integration.

  • Ensure automated reporting processes are running as expected.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience

  • Analytical background with technical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
