Newegg Inc. Account Manager, Marketplace in City of Industry, California

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key marketplace accounts. * Proactively engage with key sellers to understand their needs, provide support, and optimize their performance on our platform. * Manage product merchandising on high impact promotional campaigns. * Coordinate with marketing team to execute merchandising programs and evaluate and identify deals for both internal & external advertising. * Manage key tab or category stores. * Stay vigilant of changes within the Newegg Marketplace and broader e-commerce trends. Monitor competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. * Maintain and manage seller contents on Newegg websites. * Forecast and coordinate potential sales for key seller. Schedule and communicate with key sellers on a weekly/monthly basis. * Provide critical insights on sales trends at key price points through various marketing vehicles. Suggest marketing exposure options to increase sales. * Work closely with the marketing department to craft strategies that increase product visibility, improve conversion rates, and foster customer loyalty. * Stay current with product launches, industry trends and competitive price points. Develop & implement merchandising team reporting such as performance measurement reports. * Other duties as assigned. * You have a bachelor’s Degree in marketing or merchandising or 5+ years relevant experience * 3+ years of merchandising experience in an IT e-commerce environment, with experience dealing with major brand vendors/sellers * 1+ year of experience managing vendor P&L including MDF and Co-op accounts and utilization * Extensive knowledge of various e-commerce marketing opportunities as well traditional media * Able to compose and communicate analysis on internal and external trend changes * Understanding of Marketing Principles and Retailing * Ability to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills * Detail and result oriented with sense of urgency * Excellent analytical, organizational and coordination skills * Team-oriented and able to work in cross-functional environment Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
