Job Title: Licensed Group Facilitator

Basic Function: This position is part of the clinical treatment team and is focused on delivering psychotherapy groups on a daily basis. The position interacts with the rest of the clients care team in order to deliver group psychotherapy to clients based on their treatment needs.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

• Demonstrate knowledge of addiction, withdrawal, and detoxification processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Ability to establish a therapeutic alliance with patients.
• Ability to respond effectively to the urgent needs of patients.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other team members / disciplines as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Ability to conduct educational groups regarding substance abuse / dependence, recovery process and the 12 steps.
• Ability to conduct individual and group counseling.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in the electronic clinical chart.
• Ability to facilitate positive discharges and transition patients to the next appropriate level of care.
• Understanding of the Standards of Care established by Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (OMHAS) and other governing bodies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Community Resources accessible to patients.
• Ability to represent Hope Valley Recovery within the community, with other agencies, and with other professionals.
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPPA regulations.
• Perform other duties of the position and within the individual's scope of practice as assigned by his / her supervisor.
• Weekly clinical productivity requirement of 60%

Education and Training

• Minimum credential of CDCA in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in group counseling.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in addiction counseling.
