EMSL Analytical, Inc. Building Maintenance Associate III in Cinnaminson, New Jersey
EMSL is seeking a Building Maintenance Associate III in Cinnaminson, NJ. Ideal candidate would be someone that is flexible, can manage time well, and is handy with general maintenance duties. Candidate will be based in Cinnaminson, NJ but will be required to travel to any of our laboratories and properties located throughout North America.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Framing & construction of interior walls using metal studsInstalling sheetrock, applying compound and painting new and existing wallsFraming doorways and window openings as neededHang drop ceilings using metal ceiling track and installation of ceiling tilesAbility to paint interior and exterior spaces as requiredRemove & Install flooring including ceramic, vinyl, carpet tile and cove baseBasic knowledge of cabinetry and countertop installationGeneral maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment, to include changing air filters, fan belts and cleaning coilsStripping and waxing existing tile floorsTravel to various locations from time to time to remove and or install equipment and furniture as directedLandscaping of local properties as needed including shoveling snow and trash removalAbility to work on time sensitive projects as a member of a team “flipping” rental spaces to accommodate tenants move in dates including carpet removal and replacement, priming & painting walls, replacing drop ceiling tiles, repair and replace broken electrical outlets and light switchesVarious minor plumbing repairs on toilets, sinks, faucets and hot water heatersLight electrical fixture maintenance to include ballast and bulb replacementCleaning of plate glass windows and wipe downs of all interior fixtures and exterior façade surfacesRequirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentFive or more years of construction related experienceGeneral worker mechanically inclined, good with handsGood attitude and personableDependableReliableMust have valid driver's license and clean driving recordSome forklift experience is a plus, but not requiredMust be able to travel to local and branch laboratory locations; will be travelling less than 10% of the timeCandidate might, at times, be required to fly by airplane and stay for overnight stays or up to a week at a time to complete projects at company laboratory locationsOccasional lodging required based on the business needMust have own hand toolsMust be able to perform basic computer keyboarding and mouse skills as needed for time keeping and other electronic database communicationsMust be able to multi-taskMust be able to lift minimum of 35 poundsBackground Check RequiredAvailable Shift:Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.For consideration, all candidates MUST apply through our company website: https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=EMSL&cws=40&rid=4336EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and a flexible spending account.To find out more about EMSL Analytical, Inc. please visit our website at: www.emsl.comEOE including Veterans and Disabled.
