If you have wanted to get into the Heavy Equipment industry as a mechanic/technician, but don't have the level of experience that is required, our Technician Development Academy is your answer! As an Ohio CAT Technician Development Academy Intern, you will learn to perform duties relating to heavy off-road equipment and/or engine service and repair through an 11-week program (5 weeks instructor-led classroom/lab, 1-week on-the-job training at a sponsored shop, 5-weeks instructor-led classroom/lab), with a total of 400 hours of training. Technical Training classes will be attended for the duration of the program at the Ohio Machinery Co. Technical Training Center in Columbus, OH. When necessary, Ohio CAT will provide housing accommodations for the intern.
